This may sound silly, coming from a fashion blogger, but sometimes I struggle with our world’s massive consumerism. Of course, I am part of the machine, I am the one telling you to buy, right? So I feel a whole lot better when I buy a preloved bag!
The is an LV staple – a beautiful, structured classic – and while it looks fantastic dressed up, I actually prefer it dressed down! When it comes to styling such a classic piece, I prefer to keep my look more casual and contemporary. I like to keep my colors light and airy for contrast and to allow the bag to be an ‘everyday’ bag – when investing in a designer handbag, you want to get as much use out of it as possible, right? I mean it is, after all, an investment. The isn’t just for the office or fancy occasions, it’s definitely versatile! Throw in some heels, a belt, or earrings with your look to tie in the colors of the bag, and keep everything else neutral in terms of prints like plaids, gingham etc. (competing prints can be a bit intense).
